About Kien

Filmmaker first. Creator second.

I didn't start as an influencer. I started as the guy behind the camera, obsessing over why some frames hold your eyes and others don't. Turns out that obsession is worth a billion views.

The story

From behind the lens to in front of it.

For years I made videos for other people. Weddings, brands, whatever paid. I knew how to make things look cinematic, but I kept watching creators with a phone and zero film background pull millions of views while beautiful work sat at 200 plays.

That bugged me enough to study it properly. In March 2024 I started posting for myself and treated it like a lab. Every reel was an experiment: hooks, first frames, story structure, pacing. I kept what worked and killed what didn't, daily.

The account has since passed 408K followers and the videos have passed a billion views across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Brands like DJI and SmallRig started showing up in my DMs. Not because I got lucky, but because I turned attention into a repeatable system.

Now I split my time between making content and helping founders and brands do the same, either done for them by my team or taught straight from my playbook.

Perfect is the enemy of growth.
The rule I break my perfectionism with, daily
The receipts

Zero to 408K, documented.

March 2024 · Posted the first reel

Zero followers, a camera I already owned, and a promise to post daily even when nobody watched. The early videos flopped. I kept the receipts because the flops taught me the most.

02

The first breakout

One reel broke from the pack and did numbers my whole account hadn't seen combined. Instead of celebrating, I reverse-engineered it. Why this one? The answer became the foundation of everything I teach about outliers.

03

114K, then verified, then 408K

The system compounded. I documented the road to 114K publicly, got verified, and kept posting through every plateau. Consistency plus iteration beat talent plus mood, every month.

04

A billion views, and a team

Somewhere past the billion view mark this stopped being a solo act. Today Kienobi is a small team that ideates, shoots, edits, and posts for people who want the results without the years of trial and error.

What I believe

Simple rules. Ruthlessly applied.

01

The first second is everything

Your viewer decides to stay or scroll before they even know they decided. Win that second and the rest of your video gets a chance to exist.

02

Volume creates luck

30 videos at 80% beat 3 videos at 99%. More posts means more data, more chances, more learning. The algorithm rewards posted, not perfect.

03

Steal like a scientist

Don't reinvent the wheel. Find the outliers in your niche, break down why they worked, and build your version with your story. Research beats guessing.

Want this for your brand?

You don't need years of trial and error. You need a team that already made the mistakes for you.
